Chimay: it’s not just about beer and a castle

Isabelle Sainte can be found behind Isa’s shop. Chimay’s cultural heritage holds no more secrets for her.

This artist has been expertly working her lathe for many years. She invites the public to this former bakery to learn about her crockery, vases and candle holders. It is impossible to be bored here: Isabelle shares her work with such passion.

Working clay in a pottery workshop

Isabelle also shares her passion by offering workshops (in addition to classes and courses). You can discover the joys of modelling clay over the course of a few hours, regardless of your experience. You find yourself immersed in the different tools, working the earth, turning, enamelling and more.

You also learn centuries-old techniques thanks to her passionate guidance. Working these brief moments of respite into your schedule is a recipe for pure bliss!

You can even spend a night in a cost guest room here

Isabelle has not stopped there. She also offers the chance to rent two comfortable and cosy rooms. It is impossible to resist the charm of this site and the ambience, which encourages conversations and sharing.
