Route

For this escape game, ‘Les Trésors de l’Abbaye’, you play in the depths: you are in the cellars of the city, where the monks of Scourmont Abbey may have hidden a treasure. All that remains for you to do is find clues that put you on the right track. You have 60 minutes to find it.

An escape room in Chimay

While this is about finding the treasure of Chimay, it’s also a wonderful excuse to learn more about the history of the beer, which is still famous all around the world.

In essence, you find yourself in one of the old dungeons in the city and must solve the puzzle in less than 60 minutes to get out.

A family outing with kids over eight

The game is played in teams. Four people is ideal, especially if you can work together to find the solution. To do so, you can use all of the objects around you. Each puzzle is subtle, and the solution is rarely where you expect to find it.

The game is accessible for everyone, but it’s more fun for players over the age of eight. This is the age where you can really start to participate in the game and understand what it's about.

Cheese, beer and games

This escape game is the perfect complement to an excursion in the area, for example after visiting the castle or the Chimay Experience. You learn while having fun. What more could you ask for?

Oh, yes: only 65% of teams are successful. Will you be one of them?
