Naturia EcoCamp
A natural accommodation with environmental, social and cultural transition
This estate spans six hectares and offers accommodation and camping pitches with a permaculture slant. You can sleep in a safari tent, a tiny house, a yurt, a wooden chalet and more on site, or simply bring your own tent or motorhome. But that’s not all. An entire philosophy of change is on offer here.

Unique and dedicated accommodation options
Several unique accommodation options (furnished safari tents, tiny houses, etc.) are available to the public.
Unlike a hotel, a bed and breakfast or a traditional campsite, however, this location is a real cooperative endeavour.
This project, called ‘Naturia’, welcomes people to encourage conversations around contemporary global issues, such as the environment, the economy, politics and so forth.
The approximately twenty participants strive to make this site as welcoming as possible and to encourage conversations.
Ongoing and upcoming transition projects
When you visit the site, you find a good-natured ambience. The atmosphere is friendly and there is a lot of chatter. You can meet some residents/participants who are heavily involved in the project.
A number of activities are available here. You can fish in one of the ponds or play bowls. A bar is open and serves snacks. There are also board games.
This estate is ideally located for exploring your surroundings, with the city of Chimay and the Virelles pond just a few kilometres away.
Events à la carte
A variety of events are organised here, depending on what people want, by the owners and also those who are staying on the estate. The idea is to spend time together and to discuss the future.
This is a perfect place to take some time for yourself and reflect on our actions, either alone or in a group, in a verdant setting that allows you to replenish yourself.
The ideal solution? Coming here to discover the magic of this very special green space.
