Route

Auberge de l’Abbaye has six modern rooms with views of the ruins of Aulne Abbey. Even better: sleep in the former gate of this abbey. This all comes with the opportunity to sample local produce! An incredible change of scenery.

At the foot of the ruins of Aulne Abbey

The ruins of Aulne Abbey instantly create a sense of enchantment. High stone walls, old vaulted arches, solitary columns and, at the same time, vegetation reclaiming ground. Paved roads and old buildings (walls, farmhouses, cellars, etc.) from a bygone era surround the site of the abbey.

This is where the inn is located. In addition, the hotel is located in the former gate of Aulne Abbey. When you arrive, you discover an incredible porch that spans a small road. You fall under its spell.

Renovated rooms in a charming hotel

Every room has a view of the abbey. During the day, you can appreciate the verdant and historical aspects of this location. There are really lovely walks that mix fields and forest in the area. At night, everything is quiet and you can enjoy the total serenity of the countryside.

You wake up to a very hearty breakfast served in the inn.

Try the restaurant and activities (mini golf, boat trips and more)

Auberge de l’Abbaye also offers cheese and charcuterie boards. You can enjoy a platter with only local produce, from salads to cheeses, for a small fee.

The other dishes served at the inn are generous and very enjoyable. You can also take the chance to discover Ada, the beer from Aulne Abbey, which we enjoyed in the calm of the terrace.

Finally, this hotel is also ideal for a variety of activities. If you have already visited the ruins or hiked in the area, you can also enjoy the region with a boat tour or during a round of mini golf.

Honestly, this is a good spot to remember if you want to have a moment of peace and a change of scenery.
